Specco Color-Fast Plus is an integral plasticizing water repellent liquid admixture used in architectural cast stone mix designs to increase compressive strengths, mix density and improved freeze thaw resistance. Color-Fast Plus is formulated to reduce efflorescence and decrease water absorption of the final product. Color-Fast Plus is viscosity modified, allowing the active ingredients to remain in the concrete matrix and not separate or float to the surface during mixing.
BENEFITS:
- Improves green strength and tamping density
- Improves the dispersing properties of cement and any integral pigments
- Increases compressive strength and color consistency
- Higher early strengths with greater cement hydration and mix water retention
- Provides strong corners and edges on the stone, with edges easier to tool
- Intergal waterproofing reduces permeability
- Surface chloride deposits are reduced
- Mold life is extended by reduced concrete friction
- Improved freeze-thaw resistance and extended durability
